First week
Stuck? Here’s what usually goes wrong.
Windows won’t open it.
The app isn’t signed with a paid certificate yet, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”. That warning appears for any new unsigned app and doesn’t mean anything was found in the file. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
My browser says the file isn’t commonly downloaded.
Browsers say that about files few people have downloaded yet, which is true of any new app. In Chrome choose Keep. In Edge, open the … menu next to the download and choose Keep.
macOS won’t open it.
Move the app into Applications first. Then go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, scroll down and choose Open Anyway. You only do this once. Right click and Open no longer works on recent versions of macOS. If macOS says the app can’t run on this Mac, you probably have the other version. Go back to the macOS download and pick the other one (Apple silicon or Intel).
The report won’t run, or the key fails.
Check you pasted the whole key into Settings. Most AI providers also need a little credit on the account before a key works, so check your provider’s billing page. Key setup, step by step.
I turned it off by Wednesday.
That’s normal on a short interval. Set it to 90 minutes, use Deep Work mode for long runs, and tell it to be quiet when you need to. Start again on Monday; nothing is lost.
I never wrote a plan.
The report grades your week against your plan, so it needs one. Write it now, even mid-week, and run the report on Sunday.
Something else.
