Straight answers

The three questions people arrive with

I'm on a small budget. What's the least I can pay?

The first week costs nothing. After that it's $5 a month or $48 a year, so no plan costs more than $5 a month.

Can I pay once, with no monthly subscription?

Yes. Lifetime is $65 once and never renews. It runs on your own AI key from Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google Gemini or Perplexity, so you pay that provider a few cents for each Sunday report.

How to get a key, in about five minutes

I always forget what I did. Will this help?

That's what it's for. It asks you what you just did while you still remember, writes your answer down, and grades the week from that record instead of from your memory of it.

How it works

For people who forget what they did all day

It asks, so you don't have to remember.

Most trackers wait for you to start a timer or fill in the day afterwards, and that's exactly the moment a forgetful week slips away. This one interrupts you instead.

  1. Monday, about four minutes

Write down what the week is for

Monthly goals, this week's objectives and today's tasks. These goals are the only standard you get graded against.

  2. All week, about six seconds a time

    It interrupts and asks

A pop, then a small window: what did you do in the last hour and a half? You type one line and it writes it down with the time. You choose how often it asks, anywhere from every minute to every eight hours. Ninety minutes is a good place to start.

  3. Sunday

It reads your week back to you

The week's log goes up against your Monday goals: what you said you'd do, what you did, the pattern behind the gap, and what to change next week, with a score from 1 to 10.

09:00 AM to 10:30 AM (1h 30m): Drafted the client proposal, sent it for review.

Deep Work mode. When you need a long run without interruptions, turn it on and the app holds its questions until you come back up. Then it asks once about the whole stretch.

On every plan, and in the free week

What you get

  • Plain text logs on your own computerYour log, plan and reports are ordinary files in the app's folder on your computer. You can open, edit or delete them without the app.
  • No Whatcha Doing accountNothing to sign up for. Paying through Gumroad or Paystack asks for an email for the receipt, and that's all.
  • No cloud storageYour week lives on your machine. On Sunday, that week's log and goals are sent to an AI model to be graded, and they aren't kept afterwards. The details.
  • Three severity settings: Gentle, Honest, BrutalThe findings are identical in all three, and every one gives the same 1 to 10 score. Only the delivery changes.
  • Graded against your own goalsThe plan you write on Monday is the rubric. The app has no opinion of its own about what counts as productive, so if your goal was to rest and you rested, that's a good week.
  • Windows, macOS and LinuxA real app on your computer, not a browser extension or a tab you have to keep open.

A few more

Other things people ask

What happens when the free week ends?

The questions stop until you pick a plan. Your log, your plan and your first report stay on your computer either way.

Do I need an AI key?

Not for the free week or Monthly, because I write those reports on my server. Lifetime is the one that runs on your own key, which is how a single payment can cover reports forever.

Does my week leave my computer?

Only on Sunday, when that week's log and goals go to an AI model to be graded. On the free week and Monthly they pass through my server, which doesn't keep them, and on Lifetime they go straight from your computer to the provider you picked.

Won't being interrupted all day drive me mad?

Not at ninety minutes, and Deep Work mode holds the questions when you need a long stretch. Every fifteen minutes on day one is how people end up hating it.
